Taking Advantage
Was listening to the news in the morning.. Same old stories.. but one story caught my attention.. the reporter was speaking about how some big people take advantage of the quota system...
A "mantri" belonging to the dalit class had taken the advantage of the quota system and done his studies.. today when he has enough money he says he does not want his children to take advantage of the quota, rather get admission on the basis of merit.. On the other hand there is another mantri who had taken advantage of the quota and has risen to this point and now wants his children to also take advantage of the system.. Two kinds of mentality .. one who tries to take advantage of the system to create a capable human being of himself and then release it for the others and there is one who believes that the system is obliged to serve him as he belongs to the backward class... Such a huge difference in mentality.. and this is where the other classes get angry.. ok u have been given some rights take advantage of it till u need it.. after that give them up.. but no some people beleive in taking it to the extreme..
There is another mantri who, although from the dalit class, never took advantage of the quota system and still stood apart with his long list of merits and certificates... Today his problem is even though he does not support the quota system too much still he has to stand for it.. otherwise he will be deprived of the Dalit votes...
